Fingerbot Button Shield

Purpose

I got tired of my Fingerbot's capacitive touch button registering presses when I brush past it. Prevent accidental button presses by sticking this little shield around the button.

Versions

VHB slot version 

• Includes 1mm deep slots for little rectangles of VHB Gorilla tape. (Mine was 1.3mm thick)
  • Two 12.6 x 4.8mm rectangles should fit perfectly
• Uses shallow chamfers to avoid need for supports
• Orientation: The “outside” face should be on the build plate. Model and project file should be in the correct orientation

No slot version

• Completely flat on bottom. Uses fillets for better feel.
• Orientation: Larger “inside” face should be on the build plate.

Misc

• 3mm thick. Feel free to scale Z-axis to change thickness to suit your needs.
