Overview:

Our family and extended family plays a lot of yard games, and a recent favorite has become Kuub.  I made my own set and used scraps of ½” rebar as stakes to mark the boundaries.  However, these can be a trip hazard and outright danger if left out for a longer period of time while kids are running around playing.

I cleaned, primed and painted the rebar with a  metallic paint then created this topper to add visibility and make the stakes less of an impaling hazard.  I use these for two of the markers, and I’m still designing something for the rest.

I printed mine in a glow-in-the-dark filament to add extra visibility if we’re still playing as it gets dark.

Printing:

I would recommend printing them in a bright color for visibility, and specifically ASA if they will be left out very long.  No supports required.
