Adapter einen Ventilator & Klimaanlage im Auto für Hunde

Da es meinem Hund bei jeder Witterung zu warm im Auto war, habe ich diesen Adapter entwickelt. Die Idee: Die Klimaanlage des Fahrzeugs pustet ihre kühle Luft normalerweise nur nach vorne – hinten kommt davon kaum etwas an. Mit dem Adapter lässt sich nun ein Lüftungsschlauch von der vorderen Klimadüse direkt nach hinten führen.

Allerdings stellte sich schnell heraus: Der „lauwarme Sommerwind“ aus dem Schlauch war meinem Vierbeiner noch nicht kühl genug. Also habe ich zusätzlich einen 25 W / 12 V Ventilator eingebaut, der die Frischluft ordentlich nach hinten beschleunigt. Das Ergebnis: Eine Hundekabine, die sich in kürzester Zeit auf „arktische Bedingungen“ herunterkühlen lässt.

Für den Betrieb habe ich das Kabel des Ventilators verlängert, sodass es bequem in den 12 V-Stecker (Zigarettenanzünder) vorne im Auto passt. Dort sitzt auch ein Schalter, mit dem sich der Ventilator ein- und ausschalten lässt – ganz ohne gymnastische Verrenkungen während der Fahrt.

Since my dog was too hot in the car in all weather conditions, I developed this adapter. The idea: the vehicle's air conditioning system normally only blows cool air to the front—hardly any reaches the rear. With the adapter, a ventilation hose can now be routed directly from the front air conditioning vent to the rear.

However, it quickly became apparent that the “lukewarm summer breeze” from the hose was not cool enough for my four-legged friend. So I also installed a 25 W / 12 V fan, which properly accelerates the fresh air to the rear. The result: a dog cabin that can be cooled down to “Arctic conditions” in no time.

To operate it, I extended the fan's cable so that it fits comfortably into the 12 V plug (cigarette lighter) at the front of the car. There is also a switch there that can be used to turn the fan on and off – without any gymnastic contortions while driving.
