This parametric prism bin design allows you to customize your organization setup to your needs. You can build it from different shapes, as long as you are using the same “side length” and geometry allows it.

Start by changing the parameters in the f360 file for your needs
  1. Set your desired side length to be used across your entire organizing system.
(This step is crucial for the modularity. Only polygons with the same length can interconnect.
  2. Tune your tolerance for the bins to slide smoothly but not lose.
  3. From now on, only change the number of sides your prism will have and its height.
Parameters explanation:
  • LineW - Vase line width (default set to 0.8mm for 0.4mm nozzle)
  • Tolerance - A Higher number will increase the Gap between the bins
  • Side - Length on the Polygon side, suggested sizes 33mm/36.7mm
  • Height - Height of the bin
  • Poly - How much sides you want. 3 for triangle, 4 for square, 6 for hexagon, etc…
  • Tabs - Number in % for the locking tabs. Higher % = tabs will lock stronger, and be harder to slide.
Print settings:
  • Set the outer wall to the same dimension as LineW (from the f360 file)
  • Vase mode
  • At least 5 bottom layers
  • Layer height: 0.2,0.25,0.33,0.5
