TFIIH Protein Structure with Stand

This is a 3D model of the surface mesh of the TFIIH protein, based on the cryo-EM structure 6RO4 from the Protein Data Bank. TFIIH is a key protein complex in humans responsible for nucleotide excision repair, a process that fixes damage in our DNA.

The included stand is minimal and easy to print.

Printing and Assembly:

• Detail: 0.2mm layer height is sufficient.
• Supports: I used organic supports, but regular supports might be a better option.
• Assembly: The parts fit together rather nicely, though assembly can be a bit difficult. I used hot glue to permanently join the pieces.
