This is a switch panel mount for a miata race car. If you have removed the lower part of your miata dash and want a way to attach switched, gauges, etc this is what you need. I originally 3d scanned the lower dash mount area and made this to fit perfectly.
My car is a USDM NB2 so it might not fit other models. Additionally there are some brackets welded on to the lower dash are you need to cut off to make this fit.
I have three versions of this panel included. One is the version I use personally which is made to mount a QuickCar 50-7164 fused ignition switch panel and a AMPS dash mount for a phone. Then there is a second version which has a blank face if you want to use different switches/gauges. Then a third version that is completely blank and has no mounting holes. This might be useful in case the NA or NB2 or EU versions of the miata have different mounting holes.
The holes on the front panel are made for m4 threaded inserts, and the side mounts are made for M6 threaded inserts. Due to the shape of the part I could not install the side threaded inserts the traditional way using a soldering iron. Instead I heated up a screwdriver with a blowtorch and pushed them in with that.
Also included in the files are 3d scans of the miata lower dash bracket area in case someone wants that.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
