I have benn playing with resin and squshy molds lately and this model by Whitney Richmond seemed like a pretty simple model to turn into a resin / casting mold.
Just a few minor tweeks to the original model to make it workk better in a split mold. Put the eyes back in place, created a recess for beliow the bottom of the figure, and softened some of the sharper ends that might be a problem when releasing the mold.
And once those were done, I made a negative of the model inside of a split box. Included are indexing pins for locking the mold together. Wrap with some blue painters tape when pouring the squishy resin/glue mix. I also held the mold together with a squeeze clamp, but it probably was not necessary.
Printed in PLA at .10 on the Prusa Mini.
Poured with Elmers Squishies resin and color changing glow in the dark Elmers glue.
The author remixed this model.
