Update: added M3 version since the M2 screws seem to strip too easily. Needs 4 M3 nuts.

I needed a longer Raspberry Pi camera cable while upgrading things on my printers and due to severe impatience decided to try joining shorter cables together. After a failed attemp at soldering two short cables together I decided to try just clamping the cable ends together and so this model was born.

I was bit skeptical how well this would work but after some tweaking it seems to do it's job quite well. No idea how well this works in long term, but two joined cables have been working without issues for couple days now, even after multiple times rebuilding the joints.

The use this, you'll need 4x 5mm M2 screws. If there's need, I can make version with M3 screws.

The assembly is shown in the pictures. The ticker part of the cables connector should fit the indent in the base and lid.

Protip: adding a piece of painters tape helps
