ITX PC Case with full ATX/SFX PSU

Readme

The height of the top lid should allow for stock AMD coolers or most low profile top-down style CPU coolers to work.

The sides have enough space for at least 2x 2.5'' SATA SSDs or 4 if you optimize your cables. The PSU cables run behind the front plate, it's a tight squeeze but it should fit fine.

For the front plate I reused some old salvaged BitFenix Shinobi Core front I/O power/reset and power/hdd leds. You probably need to redesign this part for your own hardware.

The original designer designed the PSU bracket to fit SFX PSUs also, however I haven't tested that. The bracket is unchanged.

Slicing

• For the lid, use no top shell layers and enough wall loops so the walls have no infill. Check the infill direction for a nice alignement.
• You can use any infill type to adjust the design of the top face.
• The front plate can be printed standing up with a brim for a more uniform finish. Smooth PEI plate would probably look okay too. I used a textured PEI laying down.

Assembly

Check assembly instructions from the original author. Because of the modified motherboard mounting base, you’ll need to either drill holes to secure it or use double-sided tape.

Hardware I used

• 8x M3x10-15 To attach the front and back plate
• 4x M3x10-15 (or M3.5x10-15) to attach the PSU to the bracket
• 4x M3x10-15 to attach the motherboard
• 4-5x M3/M4 If you want to drill holes to attach the motherboard bracket to the base.
  • Alternatively strong double sided adhesive or glue

Converted the Bench into a full case. Removed the PCIe Brackets since I didn't need it and it makes for a cleaner look. You could technically still install a card without any I/O.
