Working on a new construction, I was pulling Cat6 cable through floor trusses and very quickly found how aggressive the truss plates are on the cable jacket/sheathing. Instead of fighting it and coming up with an ugly cardboard and duct tape solution, I came back another day with a real and permanent solution.

These cable guides are made to wedge into the angles of the trusses spacing the cable away from the truss plates and providing a strong structure for the cabling to glide along. Using a 3 ½" screw (construction, decking, or even drywall screw) these guides can be mounted to studs or trusses with the screw coming in from either direction - wood framing first or cable guide first - using the chamfered hole on the bottom or the countersunk hole on top.

These were a MASSIVE help to me and my crew and I hope they serve you just as well!

I recommend printing in PETG or stronger material with plenty walls for strength.
