The Samsung Freestyle Projector can only tilt at one axis (up & down). When projecting upwards to the ceiling, one may want to tilt it sideways for the projection to land on a desired spot. They may achieve this by putting an object of specific height (sin(tilt angle) × 96mm) under one side of the projector, but this is unstable. This model produces a stable tilted base to put the projector on. Like shown in image 3.
The provided model in the STEP file has a tilt angle of 21.1 degrees. This is optimal for the author's use case. To modify this angle, you will need to use FreeCAD, modify the provided FCStd file as follows:
Step 1/4: Right click on “Base Sketch”, select “Attachment editor”.
Step 2/4: On the appeared panel, find the “Attachment Offset” section. Modify the “Around x-axis” value as you wish, and modify the “In z-direction” value to ensure the top surface is at least 2mm above the XY-plane. Click “OK”.
Step 3/4: Click “Refresh” or press F5.
Step 4/4: Re-export the model by clicking on “Body” on the model tree, then clicking “File - Export” from the application menu.
