The EZ Wheel Vise Holder is a brilliantly simple, print-in-place tool for securely holding a wheel in a vise. Perfect for maintenance, tire changes, or hub servicing. It prints quickly with no supports and requires no extra hardware. Its best feature is its simplicity—it just works.

Key Features:

  • Zero Required Hardware: You don't need any screws, bolts, or glue. All you need is the print, your axle and your vise.
  • Prints-In-Place: No assembly required. No support needed. The model is ready to use right off the print bed.
  • Versatile Clamping: Clamp it vertically, horizontally, or at any angle in between to get the perfect working position.
  • Multiple Sizes Included: The download contains separate STL files for 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm axles to fit everything from standard quick-releases to modern mountain bike thru-axles.

How to Use:

  1. Choose the correct version for your wheel's axle diameter (10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, or 20 mm) and print the model.
  2. Insert your wheel's axle through the EZ Wheel Vise Holder. You may need to remove the lever handle.
  3. Clamp the EZ Wheel Vise Holder.
  4. Hang the wheel on the axle

Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or PLA+ is recommended for durability and strength. But basic PLA will also work for lighter-duty tasks.
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm for a good balance of speed and strength.
  • Infill: 25% or higher. I recommend using a gyroid or cubic pattern for strength.
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3-4 walls for extra rigidity.
  • Supports: None! (make sure to print vertically with the larger opening on top)
