Now V3!!
3.1 is a little shorter.
3.2 goes about as far down as the feet of the printer.
both are much bigger than before!
The pictures are of my prototype. The final version is a bit stronger and has my name on the front. Just because i can.
I included a version with support blocks. You can massively reduce the infill in the supports if you choose to use them.
Why did i add custom supports?
I tried printing this four times on my K3M. It came loose every time. Eventually i made it work with way too much support. It ended up adding a whole hour of printing, and half of it still came loose.
So for my final version i printed it on my trusty Ender3. Just because i've never had an issue getting PETG to stick to my plain glass plate.
And for those of you that want to print this on PEI, i chose to draw some supports. You may need to cut them off. The clearance is about 0.05-0.2mm depending on where you measure. But they'll provide a good flat surface to make it stay in place.
