I designed a waterproof cable gland for strain relief as the only ones I could find weren't water tight. The design is based on commercially available glands but is modified to be more printable and customizable.

You will need TPU for the waterproofing O-ring and seal, and PLA+, ASA, PETG, PA,  or the like for the rigid parts. Normal PLA is not recommended as it doesn't have enough flex for the clamping mechanism. Commercially available glands are made of Nylon.

Included are a STEP file if you want to print a ¾" KO gland sized for 12/3 SOW, or use the included Fusion 360 file and edit the favourited parameters to suit your needs.

  • “cable_OD”
  •  “printer_tolerance” (for thread tolerance)
  •  "KO_OD" (look up the real OD as trade names are not the same as the real OD. For example, "¾" KOs are actually 1.05")

Disclaimer: make sure you're competent to work on electrical systems if you intend to use with anything more than extra-low voltage! Also these are not going to be certified electrical components so do not use in any projects that require inspection (no fire rating etc.)!
