Bigger Modular Hydroponic Tower Fruits&Strawberry

Hey,

we designed this hydroponic tower after we tried some other models here. Unfortunately, we were not happy with other models for our usecase. We want to grow up fruits ad vegetables.

We needed more stability and bigger pots, so I designed from scratch an new modular system - hereby thanks to all ideas I got from other models.

This model provides

• higher stability (for higher builds)
• reliable watering of all pots (cause it stays alltime orthogonal)
  • In future im planning to add a modification for an stormproof outdoor placing 
• bigger pots (to use with planting soil for fruits like strawberry)
• less waterloss (less gaps in modular build up)

The tower has a diameter of 15cm / the pots have a diameter of around 8cm.

But pay attentions, this model needs a well calibrated printer&filament. Higher stability needs less tolerance!

In this file you find all models you need to build up. If you use soil like we do, I recommend to print the filter and place some metal mesh between.

The holes in the filter are for 3mm screws+nuts. To connect the bottom parts (top of the base), you need 6mm screws, washers and nuts. Tight them well, it gives more stability. The base cover ist designed for base pots with a diameter between 28 and 29cm. If you like, I can also design for other sizes.
