DDR5 RAM Cooling Kit Test Fit Pieces

Description

These are test pieces used for verifying if the DDR5 RAM coolers here will fit your motherboard before you pay any money for them.  It is intended that you print the corresponding test piece you want to try and then attempt to fit it to your motherboard to verify the similarly designed coolers will fit as well.  If you printed one of these and it worked or didn't work for your motherboard, leave a comment so the next person may not have to print out the test part.

Installation

Before installing a test part, ensure all your RAM latches CLOSED.  Forcing a test part on while a latch is open could break the latch.

When installing the test part, it will require some effort to install but should snap nicely into place.  It may be difficult to install if you do not have the latches properly aligned or they do not align.  It is easiest to install on a vertically oriented motherboard, where you can then install the bottom part of the test part on the lower RAM latches, and then pop the top side on the upper RAM latches.  If installing the test part with the motherboard in another orientation, you will probably have to push the latches fully closed to install the test part, even if it will end up fitting your motherboard.  The latches have a tendency to be able to wiggle out a little while in their latched positions.

Ensure that the latches line up nicely in the recesses of the test part.  The recesses are responsible for keeping the cooler, fan(s) and duct(s) installed, and too loose of a fit could mean parts falling off later.  If the latches are spaced closer together or further apart than the recesses in the test part, consider taking some measurements of the spacing and I may be able to  easily create and provide more cooler designs that fit your motherboard.
