Wikinger-Schild (Viking Shield)

Wikinger-Schild komplett aus dem 3D-Drucker Prusa XL

Das Schild hat einen Durchmesser von ca. 700mm, (Prusa-XL Drucker notwendig)

Bestehend aus 8 Einzelteilen die später zusammengesteckt oder geschraubt werden.

Zusätzliches Material für die Montage notwendig:

• Ruthex Gewindeeinsatz M4Sx4,0
• Zylinderstifte Tol h6 DIN 6325 (ISO8734) gehärtet, geschliffen, blank (oder Vergleichbares) für die Montage der einzelnen Platten (siehe hier auch die Fotos)
• M4x10 und M4x20 Inbusschrauben für den Schildbuckel
• Senkkopfschrauben M4x8 für die beiden Halterungen um einen Gurt zu befestigen.

Einen Tipp noch gleich vorweg. Bohrt die 8 kleinen Löcher an der Seite des Schildes auf 2mm auf um die Zylinderstifte leichter zu montieren ggf. noch einen Tropfen Kleber dazugeben beim Zusammenstecken.

Viking shield made entirely from the Prusa XL 3D printer

The shield has a diameter of approximately 700mm (Prusa XL printer required).

Consists of 8 individual parts that will later be plugged or screwed together.

Additional materials required for assembly:
- Ruthex threaded insert M4Sx4.0
- Cylindrical pins Tol h6 DIN 6325 (ISO8734) hardened, ground, bare (or equivalent) for mounting the individual plates (see photos here)
- M4x10 and M4x20 Allen screws for the shield boss
- Countersunk head screws M4x8 for the two brackets for attaching a strap.

One more tip: Drill the 8 small holes on the side of the shield to 2mm to make it easier to install the cylindrical pins. If necessary, add a drop of glue when assembling.
