QIDI Box - Desiccant Container

Overview

These are replacements containers for the QIDI Plus 4 and QIDI Q2 QIDI BOX!

I felt the original desiccants containers couldn't hold enough desiccants for the volume of the QIDI BOX.
As such, this design replaces the two original containers by a long container that spans the whole length of the QIDI BOX, and can hold much more desiccants.
This container is thinner than the original container as to not collide with the spools' edges.

For your convenience, I've also remodeled the original Desiccant Holder if you were to need a replacement.

Requirements

The container reuses the four mounting points and the four M3 self-tapping screws from the original containers.

Printing

These containers should be printed in a material that can survive the QIDI BOX's drying temperatures that can reach up to 70°C. 

If you are printing with a material that shrinks a lot (ABS/ASA), and you did not calibrate shrinkage compensation for your filament, you should probably scale up the model to 100.3%.

These materials are all a great choice:

• ABS/ASA
• PA-GF/CF
• PET-CF
• PPA-CF/PPS-CF are overkill but it'll work ;-)
