Getafix's Golden Sickle from Asterix

This is Getafix's sickle from Asterix. I quickly drew it up looking at pic from the front of one of the books. Borrowed a little inspiration on the base of the blade from Asterix and the Golden Sickle, but otherwise the details match getafixes normal sickle, not the more ornate golden sickle.

I printed the blade in two halves from Esun golden esilk filament and glued flats together. Use Archimedean Chords for top infill to look awesome.
 

I used a peice of 25mm tree branch to make the handle - but it can also be 3D printed. All designed with 10MM diameter shafts 30mm long - so easy to drill a hole in each end and fix in blade and handle base.

AMF files for loading into slicer, or Solidworks 3D model if you want to modify yourself.

Made for my son's book-week costume - neat way to turn a white sheet and string beard into a classic druid. :)

Added a shorter handle option as well (110MM)
