This bedside kindle holder has been designed from the ground up with 3D printing in mind.
A single piece kindle holder inspired by mid century modern magazine racks. A functional design with aesthetic appeal.
Printing and Assembly
The holder shown in photos was printed at 0.2mm layer heights using a 0.4mm Nozzle. It should print well with larger nozzles, although the crisp edges may become more rounded.
Based on your bed performance, a brim may be required to prevent warping.
I printed with 15% adaptive cubic infill and had great results. There is no requirement for supports, and the best orientation will be asper the included screenshot or in the included .3mf file. The end ‘gussets’ are sized so that should be easily printed as overhangs with no support.
Required Parts
No additional parts are required for this project.
