Looking for a great way to display your favorite book or a piece of art? Try out this 3d printed book stand that can adjust to fit a wide variety of book sizes. A convenient set of four print-in-place hinges allows the two halves of the stand to pivot between a 0 and 45 degree angle.
PRINT INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep the model oriented with the axis of the hinges vertical.
- I printed out several copies with a 0.6mm nozzle and 2 perimeters and they worked great. I imagine that a 0.4mm nozzle would work just as well, but consider moving up to 3 perimeters.
- I used a 5mm brim to ensure good bed adhesion.
- Make sure to trip away any excess plastic from the bottom edges to ensure the two sides of the stand can pivot freely on the hinges from open to closed.
- Consider using a filament of at least average strength to ensure the hinges can handle any wear and tear during use.
