The Akaso Brave 7 LE comes with a clear plastic waterproof enclosure, similar to many action cameras. This case allows the camera to be connected to any “GoPro” style mount, but also covers up the microphone rendering the audio fairly useless.
This model attaches to the bottom of the camera with the standard mounting screw and then presents a “GoPro” style mount. It does not enclose the whole camera, and leaves the microphone available.
I recommend a Stainless Steel Flared-Collar Knurled-Head Thumb Screw in 1/4"-20 Thread Size, 5/8" Long, McMaster-Carr part number 99607A235. Yes they are $5 each. Yes they are super nice. Yes any other bolt the same size would work, but these are really nice on your fingers.
Printed in PETG, 15% infill, I used cubic for some additional dimensional strength. Supports are needed under the tabs, but in my experience aren't needed for the rest of the model. I do supports on the build plate only, and then use a support blocking box to block everything except the two tabs sticking out. Print with the front or the back on the bed, the side on the bed will have a slightly nicer finish.
Please let me know if this works with any of the other Akaso cameras, I don't know if they have the same form factor or not.
