Simple Sim Wheel Center Cover

This simple backing plate and cap can be used to fill the empty hole left in a standard steering wheel with a 70mm mounting pattern when mounting to a hub.

I designed the cap to take a small magnet (10x1.5mm) to allow you to change them from the front. The pictured cap was printed on a Bambu Labs A1 with AMS, using Bambu Studio to insert a vector image for colouring. 

The idea behind this is you can change up the cap to match different wheels, or change designs quickly if you like. I'll upload a second project built on this system later, which includes button box modules for use with a Fanatec Podium Hub or Simube S-Hub. This system allowed that to be printed facing the bed for better aesthetics. 

I've provided the STEP files so you can modify the design to suit the magnets you have, or alter the cap to your liking.
