sand and paint
drill four holes to bolt the leather to
(counter bore to hide your threaded inserts)
bolt your leather parts on [I used long pieces and had them run behind the pillow]
staple the pillow part on to help when wearing shield for long periods
use wood filler to make the front of the shield flat and hide the threaded inserts
sand again
attach gold contact paper, cut to size
assemble 3d printed shield parts
(dry check fit)
glue on
i used super glue to connect the plastic shield edging together and gorilla glue to attach it to the shield. but I eyeballed my shield and then had to measure and get something close… you'll have the option to use the included DXF template to help you cut out a more accurate shield shape, so hopefully you don't need to utilize an expanding glue (gorilla glue) to get your MirrorSheild together.

You Got the Mirror Shield!
I did have a little trouble printing the SHEILD_Lower parts, there was some missing filament and holes, due to the angle and the thin nature of that part of the print. – detect thin wall might fix it… otherwise lemme know and maybe I can change that part altogether to be easier to print….
