QMC5883L (GY-271 ) Triple Axis Compass Magnetometer Sensor Module Housing

This design was created by Matthew Byington over in the Home Assistant Community, I am simply sharing it here with Matthew's permission for others to use.

This model is a housing to protect a QMC5883L (GY-271 ) Triple Axis Compass Magnetometer Sensor Module from the elements.

It is water tight on three sides. The bottom is open to insert the sensor and let any water that does get in, get out. You can use hot glue or something if you want to seal the opening.

It’s a tight fit intentionally. I would recommend print settings:

1. PETG or ABS
2. 10 wall loops (effectively solid, so infill % doesn’t matter in the slicer settings)
3. 0.16mm layer height
