I've bought this light a while ago to use in my bathroom, but holy crap!
It says 900 lumens on the box but upon flipping the switch, I pictured myself in an episode of X-files being abducted by aliens.
I decided to print a dimming shield, plate, diffuser or whatever you may call it. It's just a piece of 1mm thick filament that fits the light like it's OEM!
You will need to take the original screws out that keep the light fixed to the mounting plate and reposition them to the other holes that match the new part.
Print the model upside down and there is no need for supports
My own print warped loose at one side, but I still managed to get a functional part out of it.
PLEASE NOTE! not all filaments block or diffuse light at te same rate. Your results may vary! The same goes for filament color. My cheap white Elegoo filament changed the light in color from cold white into a bit more warm white. It's also a lot less intense!
Thicken the part to block more light or chop off a few tenths of mm if it gets too dark.
