Somfy Eolis 3D RTS Wind Sensor Bracket for Sunsetter Awning

This bracket is for mounting the Somfy Eolis 3D RTS Wind Sensor to the rail of a Sunsetter awning. There is really no flat level surface on the Sunsetter awning rail to mount this sensor, plus I didn't want to drill holes in my rail. So, I created this mounting plate and bracket that slide into the groove of the rail. You will need 2-4  #8 stainless steel self-tapping screw to attach the bracket and the sensor. Or you can just use 2 screws for the bracket attachment and use the provided double sided tape to attach the sensor to the bracket plate.

The plate mounting bracket has the standard 14 deg angle that most awnings are set to from the factory.

To install, remove the rail end cap (two screws) slide the T clips into the rail, use two screw to attach the back plate to the T clips. Slide the bracket where you want it and snug down the screws. It might be easier to first very loosely attach the back plate to the T clips before you slide the whole assembly onto the rail.
