Extension Cord Storage from Prusament Filament Spools

Reuse your old Prusament spools for extension cords or Christmas light organization

Printing and assembly:

All parts can be printed as oriented in the files without supports.

Print the joiner (either use just one or use 2 for extra strength) and handle.  You can use either:

• M3 joiner + the M3 handle remix attached here
• OR M4 joiner + handle from the original model

Print 2x Prusament spool cores (any matching width) and add 4X heat set inserts per side.  Assemble by removing and replacing the cardboard core.

Add 2X heat set inserts to each joiner where you want to attach a handle.  

Assemble joiner to spool cores using 8X M3x12 screws

Assemble to handle with M3x16 screws.  Done!

18 X M3x5x4 heat set inserts (20 if using 2 handles)

16 X M3x12 screws (SHCS or BHCS)

2 X M3x16 screws for each handle
