Designed to adapt the brackets used on twin slot sheving (e.g. "twinny” sold by B&Q in the UK) to hold dowel rods.
The B&Q brackets I am able to buy currently are “form” branded, so use the “filahook-form” if you have those. I have some other generic brackets fof amazon that use a thicker hook. Scale the height in your slicer if you need different thicknesses (or use openscad), check the fit before you print 100.
Use 19.05mm (3/4”) dowels mounted with one 14mm M4 self tapping screw per bracket.
The commonly available 170mm brackets position the rods just far enough from the wall to hold 1KG filament spools perfectly (the back of the spool rests against the wall).
You don't need to glue or screw the dowels in, they just push in and are held there by the bracket flexing a little.
I printed mine out of PETG with 40% infill but you can follow your heart.
