This is a bottle opener edsigned for the Prusa flash contest about…… Bottle openers.

Well, il be honest with you, i usually dont use bottle openers. I use things like my metal calipers, other bottles, hard edges and basically everything that wont get damaged in the process. Thats why when i saw the contest i didnt think, that i would participate, but having a sticker of the open hardware logo on my door, i thought it would have the perfect shape for a bottle opener, so i decided to make one anyway.

While it isnt exactly  the most ergonomic/practical opener out there, i think it still looks cool so, without further a do, here are the recommended print settings (Althoug i recommend to just use the gcode, if you want the infill pattern on top):

Infill:

About 10% for 2-3 outer shells

layer height:

0.2-0.3mm

fillament:

I used PLA, i dont have petg on hand but sice its more soft, i think it probably wouldnt stand up as good as PLA.

support:

Good news, support is not needed.

idealy you should place the print on the flat side without the overhanging edge (Like on the pictures)

Happy printing and as always, dont hesitate to hit me up for questions.

David
