Gridobox

Context

I wanted to make my kitchen countertop a bit cleaner while cooking stuff.

It was also largely an exercise for me in Fusion 360 modeling, you can see the dimensions in the sketch image if you want to create your own hooks.

Features

• Gridfinity 5x7 baseplate compatible (print separately, I like this lightweight version)
• Robust enough to stay in place (Optionally add some rubber feet)
• Hooks to cling on the side (e.g one for your wedding ring when mixing minced meat with your hands)
• Small notches in the side of the model allow you to grab it easily

Future optimisations

• There's a little bit of margin between the inside edges and the baseplate
• The design of the hooks is ugly
• Slots for drop-in or glue-in magnets could be nice so you'd cling stuff to the side (e.g a knife)
