! IMPORTANT !
Logitech saitek 90° mod is required for this mod (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4596632)
I used SS495A hall effect sensor with a arduino pro micro (USB-C version)
The sensor is attached with a hotglue and it could be mooved a bit around the middle for fine manual calibration.
Also be cearful when glueing the magnets in place! One side should be south and other north (so the sensor goes from 0 - 500 - 1023)
D12 1mm neodymium magnets are used
The case fits the arduino, one button and two LEDs and 2 4pin JST-XH 2,54mm connectors (one is for the yoke and other is for a tiller)
I now have only the roll axis wired up, Ill post update when the pitch axis is done.
The arduino runs a simple code with the joystick.h lib, where it emulates joystick X axis with the mapped value.
The tiller is just a reserve for now.
Im open to any updates, this is very crude solution tbh, but for me it fixes the problem with the old pots.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
