Meidjo nut

This simple design is a replacement part for those nuts: just pause the print at z=5mm (version 1 or z=6 for the second version, with hexagonal base) and insert a steel M5 hexagonal nut inside the piece and finish the print.

The second version has a 13mm base to be easily screwed. The nut being higher makes it also simple to screw.

The strength has been validated but no idea how long this will last: it is mainly designed as a spare part. This design with a steel nut weights 3g while the original (full Aluminium) weights about 4g.

Printed in PET-G from Prusament with 100% infill for strength !
