This is a drill-powered caulk gun with a compound gear mechanism that translates rotary motion into a strong linear push.

The model includes two drill mounting options:

  • A-type: Clamp-on mount for secure tightening
  • B-type: Snap-fit quick attachment

Key features:

  • The main rod uses a trapezoidal/threaded power screw that holds axial load efficiently
  • The plunger is printed horizontally to ensure strength along the layers
  • Gears, reducer housing, and piston are best printed in PETG and manually fitted for smoother motion
  • All other parts can be printed with PLA
  • Use M3x5x5 heat-set inserts (or smaller if needed) and M3 screws in sizes 8, 10, 12, 16, or 20mm — whatever you have at hand
  • Thick grease is recommended for the gear train and threaded shaft

Print settings recommendations:

  • Infill pattern: Gyroid, 10–25% (not critical)
  • Wall count: Increase perimeter count for strength (I used 4) — that's what really matters
  • Top/bottom layers: Consider increasing for additional structural integrity

STEP and F3D files are included to tweak dimensions if needed for your printer tolerances.
