The trick to printing this as a single thin, light-transmissive layer is to set your layer width to 1.5 times the nozzle diameter - so .6mm on a .4mm printer.
Layer height, I used .3 - and that worked out really nicely. Also, I did print with a small brim, which was cut away to fit.
