Cycloid maker

A tool with a gear and a rack, with which you can relatively easily draw a cycloid, one of the most interesting curves.

A cycloid is a curve that can be obtained as the trajectory of a point on the circumference of a wheel that rotates uniformly on a plane without slipping. It is also a tautochrone and a brachistochrone, among other things.

The penholder is suitable for pens with a diameter of 12 mm.

Recommended print settings: PLA, 0.1 mm layer height, 15% infill, no supports needed.
