Shower Curtain Rod 90 Degree Connector

If you ever find yourself in need of constructing a shower curtain rod system with multiple rods, this clamp allows you to connect a Ikea BOTAREN shower curtain rod with a RÄCKA curtain rod (both at the 16mm and the 19mm diameter) securely at a 90° angle. For additional hardware you only need a M4 x 30 mm cylinder head screw and a M4 nut (both preferably in stainless steel). For each holder you will need to print two of the corresponding wedges.

The CAD picture illustrates the principle. When tightening the screw, the wedges compress on the upper rod and the big pieces clamp down on the lower rod holding both firmly in place.
