Cup Holder for Your IKEA NÄMMARÖ Chair

Are you enjoying your comfortable IKEA NÄMMARÖ outdoor furniture but find yourself missing a convenient spot for your drink? I designed this cup holder to solve that exact problem! It’s the perfect little "IKEA Hack"  to make your relaxation time even better.

This model is designed to slide snugly onto the armrest of the IKEA NÄMMARÖ chair series. It’s stable, easily repositionable, and doesn't require any tools or modifications to your furniture.

Key Features:

• Universal Fit: The holder is wide enough to accommodate most glasses, cans, and cups.
• Mug Slot: A dedicated slot on the side allows you to use cups and mugs with handles.
• Perfect Integration: Designed specifically for the NÄMMARÖ series for a secure, non-slip fit on the armrest.
• Drainage Holes:  The integrated drainage holes make sure that the rain does not collect in your cub holder.
• Easy to Use: Just slide it on and enjoy! Move it or remove it in seconds.

The model was designed and tested on a Prusa MK3s.

Printing Tips:

• Recommended Filament: I highly recommend using a Wood PLA filament. It gives the print a fantastic texture that beautifully complements the light brown stained wood of the NÄMMARÖ furniture.
• Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance of speed and quality.
• Infill: 20% is sufficient.
• Supports: Support is needed for the clamp. The 3MF file includes Support enforcers (in Prusa Slicer) in the needed area.

⚠ Important Temperature Warning! ⚠

Standard PLA has a low-temperature resistance (around 60°C / 140°F). A fresh cup of hot coffee or tea can soften and deform the material.

• If you plan to use this holder for hot beverages, please print it in a more temperature-resistant material like PETG, ASA, or ABS.
• This model printed in PLA is perfectly safe for cold drinks.
• Use light colors if you want to print it in PLA and leave it in the sun so it does not melt
