Woodgrain NixieShop Clock Enclosures

As pretty as the wood cases are for the nixie tube clocks at nixieshop.com, I knew I wanted one with some tilt, so I can see it at my desk without the numbers being obscured by the grids in the tubes. I also wanted it to be as compact as possible. 

This simple case fits my needs. The PCB slides in from the bottom and is secured with four 4-6mm M3 socket cap screws. A small clip holds the PCB in place and prevents it from flexing when you press the button/knob. 

I am showing off the z753m nixie tubes, but other tubes should fit the case as well. 

Tip: if your board gets stuck because it's at an odd angle, don't push the tubes. Instead pull the brass standoffs from the bottom with pliers or longer M3 screws.
