When I and others had bought the Saturn 4 Ultra bundle with the Mercury XS washing and curing station I was disappointed that the build plate no longer fit into the washing station to be able to wash both the build plate and the print at the same time.
The Fix?: Simply removing approximately 6mm of thickness from both sides of the plastic resin shield on the build plate.
From my testing it does not affect the auto leveling of the printer and the printer is none the wiser to the change since its a simple deflector shield and no electronics or sensors are located in or near it.
The total print size is 225mm x 134mm. Its not small but should fit on most printers.

Disassembly of the build plate can be tricky but once you get it the first time it becomes much easier.
Disassembly Steps:
NOTE: Upon reassembly the rubber O rings may want to bend out of the wells they sit in and may need coaxed into place when reassembling the plastic resin shield to the aluminum mount.
Follow the steps in the reverse order to reassemble.
I printed mine out of ABS.
