Customizable Can Dispenser (Parametric)

A customizable can dispenser, so you can adjust the size to fit your needs perfectly.

The nice thing about it is, that you can replace the spacer to make it fit or an other can size (if the diameter of the can stayes the same). But as they seem to be quite standardized, this should often work.

Important

The provided STL files are made for cans with a diameter of 75mm and can hold up to five cans. An odd amount of cans seems to be not ideal, because the can in the middle pushes down quite a bit and can make the first can pop out more easily. An even number of cans should be preferred if possible. But, so far, it works very well for me.

Customization

The downloads also includes the F3D file for Fusion 360. This way you can adjust the can dispenser as you like (please respect the CC4-BY-NC-SA license).

The most important parameters can be easily adjusted using Fusions parameters:

NOTE: Unfortunately, as we (may) all know, Fusion is very buggy. For example when changing “TotalDepth” it will often fail if the change of the value is too big. In this case, just try to increase/lower the value step by step, which usually works.

If you plan to use it with very large cans, you may have to adjust the design a bit to make it stronger.

Assembly

In addition to the printed parts, you will will need some screws:

• M3 x 10 mm - 2 pcs
• M3 x 20 mm - 8 pcs (16 mm could also work)
