Jeep Wrangler Vertical Phone Holder up to 17.75mm Thick

I shortened the brackets so the phone doesn't extend over the top of the screen. It also puts the camera at a good height for taking videos (see picture).

Vexanix did a great job on his design, but it wouldn't fit my phone with its case. Also, I would rather it be vertical for pretty much everything, except Maps or maybe a video.

I had an iPhone 12 Pro that I always have either the Imperial Cog, Rebel Alliance, or SpaceX case with built in 2 credit card holder that I designed. I had to resize his design to fit those cases. I now have an iPhone 16e with those same cases and it also works. The new sizes should also fit a lot of other cases. They may not be as snug as with my case, but should still work.

While I was at it, I added some enhancements (see list in Differences section).

*I have a 2015 Wrangler. I know many 3rd party accessories say they fit 2007-2017 Wranglers, so they must all be very similar. I can't guarantee that these fit any other year than a 2015, but I wouldn't be surprised if it fits many of those years.  If you use these, could you PLEASE post a make, or at least a comment, with the phone you have, case or no case, and which year/model Wrangler you have so others can see what else it works for. 1. I turned it from holding the phone horizontally to being vertical.
2. I lengthened the bottom and added a lip to fit into the gap between the console and the radio. This holds the bottom down so it doesn't bounce around as much. Also easier to take the phone out because the holder stays in place.
3. Made the sections that the phone slips into wider to accommodate my case. The left and right holders are 17.75mm deep and 75mm wide.
4. I added a bottom piece that can either be glued in or friction fit.It has a cutout for the speakers and the charging cord. Make sure that the opening for the cord is facing out. That way you can slip it in and out without unplugging it first. It also makes the whole thing more sturdy.
5. I recessed the spacer because it wouldn't fit with my case on. I also had to change the length of the spacer to fit my iPhone 12 Pro and case. It also fits my iPhone 16e with case as well.
