This is a replacement cylinder for the Hog Wild Atomic Power Popper (also known as the “Powerball Popper” or “Foam Ball Blaster”). It attaches to the plastic sleeve inside the barrel that seals the air and creates pressure when the handle is pushed quickly.

The original cylinder cracked on our blaster, so I reverse-engineered a replacement using calipers and FreeCAD. This model restores full firing function when printed in PETG or other strong filament.

The original cylinder is 31mm/33mm for inner/outer diameter. This sleeve is a simple 33mm/35mm to go over the broken part of the sleeve and then slims down to the standard 31mm/33mm for the remainder.

Assembly Details

  • cylinder fits snugly over sleeve with no glue needed
  • cylinder fits into barrel
  • rubber end of barrel must be glued onto sleeve with a strong glue and sufficient amounts to make the airtight seal
  • barrel support piece zip tied on (could glue it but I went with ziptie so I could undo easily later if needed)

Note: This part is a tight fit and designed to match a specific model of the Atomic Power Popper. Make sure to test carefully — tolerances may vary slightly depending on printer and filament.

  • Infill: 15%
