If you are like me and absolutely despise the exposed barrel on the end of the new XShot AEB, then this model is for you! I designed this barrel shroud to match the general aesthetic of the blaster, as well as add some extra rail space on the top and bottom. The bottom rail now has a clamp included that helps to secure the shroud to the MPP.
Recommended Printer Settings:
Layer Height: I set mine to .20 and it worked, but .16 will make it sturdier
Infill: 25%
Supports: Yes
Installation Instructions:
Insert the top and bottom rails to the shroud. The flush end of the rails should be facing the front of the blaster so that it looks like a continuous rail. The file includes 2 clamps. The slightly smaller one is the tightest fit. Depending on your printer, you may need to glue one half of the clamp to your printed rail. Once you've done that, you can just slide the whole thing onto the barrel and the blaster's rail. If it's too loose of a fit, the .step file is included so that you can make necessary scale adjustments to the clamps.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
