Tough Hook mount to Motorcycle Helmet Hook

I used a Krystal Blue Tough Hook for this one. Drilled and mounted. Make sure you don’t drill thru the plastic hanger with a regular drill bit. Use a ceramic tile style bit. Drill at slow speed. This will keep stress risers from forming. The hanger material is made from ABS plastic. Stress risers are a bad thing in plastic, could cause the hanger to crack.

I needed an alternative way to hold my helmet with my jacket. I use a Tough Hook for my jacket, and thought, what if it could hold both….

After a little 3D scan work, and CAD work, here is my model.

Well, here are my test prints to verify scanned geometry. Hit it first try.
