Description:
M8 is my custom-designed 7-inch long-range frame, created to push the limits of flight time, stability, and precision. Designed for 8S power but carefully tuned for efficiency and control, it combines a lightweight structure with excellent rigidity and clean aerodynamics.
Built with mountain flying in mind — quiet, powerful, and reliable — M8 strikes a perfect balance between natural agility and technical performance.
I named it M8 because the frame resembles an "M", and it was designed with 8S capability in mind.
My entire drone fleet runs on 4S, but with the growing trend of 8S, I wanted to build a larger, more powerful drone using 2x 4S batteries in series. The frame is specifically designed to hold one battery on top and one on the bottom. I integrated a series XT60 connector setup, delivering a clean and effective 8S configuration — and it works great!
Electronics used (but the frame is roomy and versatile):
DJI O3 Air Unit (O4 compatible)
Foxeer F405 V2 flight controller + Reaper 55A 8S ESC
T-Motor F90 2806.5 1300KV motors
Radiomaster RP3 ExpressLRS 2.4GHz receiver
FlyFishRC Mini M10 GPS
2x FlyFishRC Osprey 5.8GHz 150mm LHCP antennas – mounted on a custom foldable support
Important notes:
This page only includes the hardware for the frame. All 3D-printed parts are published separately — see the link below.

The frame is built around the aluminum center plate from the GEPRC RACER frame. If you want to build your own M8, make sure to order that part
