models are updated so that the slide lock cant be pushed outwards. what causes extra slide ware
this can be fixed with a 0.6mm spacer if you want to update a printed frame

I have moved the mag 0.5mm up. this should be better. but this not tested with other users.

18-07-2025 update enlarged the mag well so it works with other mag brands. I expediently skipped this test on the final design.

I will be making some models that are out there in the wild over time. but in case you want to convert one that is not done jet or make your own design then feel free to use this cut out shape.

do keep in mind that we tech seems to have used the g 1 7 gen 3 as a base back then and made there models later all based on that one barrel spacing wise. so you might be better of basing it of a gen 3. with that said it will not 100% line up. so close all the existing holes and other internal cuts so you got a clean frame to work with.

compatibility note: 
WE-tech G series 17 and 18 from gen 3 up to gen 4 (5 will be added later)
TM G series 17 gen3: fits
AW VX7 and VX8 : should fit the Gen 3 version but this is not tested
G-force 17 : should fit the Gen 4 version but this is not tested

used as inspiration and as a starting point but 80% was remodels for better fitment with tighter tolerances
