Druckeinstellungen Material: PETG (empfohlen)
Layerhöhe: 0.2 mm
Wandstärke: 4 Perimeter Infill: 20 %
Support: Nein
Düse: 0.4 mm
Benötigte Schrauben:
4 × M5-Schrauben

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This robust flap solution was developed for a standard cellar grille (e.g. in front of ventilation shafts) to lead a hose or cable to the outside if required - and to effectively close the passage against animals when not in use.
Features:
Passage opening: 120 × 120 mm
Flap with hinge: printed directly onto the frame
Locking: rotating latch fixed with M4 screw
Screwable retaining plate: fastened to the grille with 4 × M5 screws
Opening handle: M4 screw can be screwed into the handle area
Animal stop: Prevents mice or similar from entering when closed
Parts & assembly
1× Frame with flap (print as one part)
*The flap is already firmly attached to the frame and opens/closes reliably.
1× latch (print separately or next to the frame with flap)
1× rear retaining plate (print separately)
Print settings Material: PETG (recommended)
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Wall thickness: 4 Perimeter Infill: 20 %
Support: No
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Screws required:
4 × M5 screws
1 × M4 screw for the latch
Optionally 1 × M4 screw can be screwed into the flap as a handle
Installation instructions
Saw a hole in the existing grille (min. 120 × 120 mm),
Attach retaining plate from behind, frame with flap from the front,
Screw through the grille with M5 screws,
Fit latch, optionally insert handle
Practical tip:
The construction is designed so that it can be used permanently outdoors. PETG is UV-resistant and temperature-resistant. The frame can be sealed with silicone for additional impermeability.
In the project data, I have also added hexpatterns via the Prusaslicer, the construction was carried out as a closed door.
Have fun rebuilding - and please leave feedback/makes! (Constructed & tested with Anycubic PETG - layer height 0.2 mm, printed on the Prusa MK4)
