If you are like me and dont have space in the back to either collect the purge in a bucket or make it reach around to the side or bottom to collect it there then this might be for you.
Add capability to purge into a internal bucket that is then removed from the inside. Removal works fine with but all the way up or down. I tested various positions in between which worked sometimes better or worse but i guess there is not much need to empty the bin mid-print.
Recommendations
- support generation needed for the area where the wiper rests on
- to match the case sunlu/jayo grey PETg, Polymaker dark grey PETg/ASA
- when inserting the M2 Inserts its beneficial to press some flat metal piece from the inside against the holes to prevent the M2 Inserts from pertruding to the inside
- The M2 Insert for the Flap needs to be flush with the inside surface as the Screw is ment to bottom out on the insert
- For PETg or similar using the stiffened Top Part is strongly recommended. The nozzle wiping otherwise creates significant flex in that part.
- since the purge can soften or melt the upper area of the Top part it can be beneficial to add a bit of aluminium tape to the inside as a heat shield.
- For use with the internal spool mod please use the thinBucket version
