Miele hose adapter for Makita backpack vacuum cleaners like DVC660 DVC260 and possibly others

I hate proprietary Vacuum hoses, adaters and accessories. The Makita backpack vacuum has smaller than average hose diameter and the accessories mount the other way around as others. This simply would not do, so I had to adapt the Makita vac to take Miele accessories that I had extras of.

The adapter allows the user to take a Miele vacuum hose that fits most vacuum attachments and use it with a Makita.

The White endcap of the miele hose can be stuck inside the adapter and it holds in place reasonably well. Add hot glue if needed.
